报告摘要:
The prototype chemotaxis models were proposed in a series of seminal works by Keller and Segel in 1970-1971. While many of mathematical results have been obtained for various modified Keller-Segel model, only few results are available to the original Keller-Segel with density-dependent motility. In this talk, we shall discuss the challenges of analysis on this type of Keller-Segel mode and report the progresses made on global well-posedness and critical mass phenomenon.

王治安,香港理工大学教授。主要研究领域是生物数学中的偏微分方程理论及其解法,目前已在J. Differential Equation、J. Mathematical Biology、Mathematical Models and Methods in Applied Sciences、CPDE、SIAM J. Math. Anal.、SIAM J. Applied Mathematics等高水平杂志发表学术论文60多篇。SCI期刊DCDS-B杂志编委。获得多项香港研究基金资助, 2019年获得香港数学会杰出青年奖。
